All of my weddings are near and dear to my heart, but this one was extra special.

I’ve always loved getting to photograph these monumental moments for people, but this wedding reminded me just how great my job really is. Cody’s father passed away early on in their wedding planning and you can tell it was devastating to both of them and that Madison already counted him as her family. I love when couples get each other wedding gifts, but Madison went above and beyond with hers. It was definitely the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever seen and you could tell just how much she loves Cody through it. It’s so hard to imagine not having my dad on my wedding day, and I know it made a wonderful day a little bittersweet for Cody, so Madison did everything she could to let him know that his dad was there with him.

The guys at Anthony’s Barber Shop did a great job on ALL the guys, even these little cuties!

Madison knew how much Cody wanted his Dad at their wedding, and did everything she could to let him know that he was there with him.
She spent so much time going through old letters and cards with Cody’s mom and found the perfect thing!
She gave him a handkerchief printed with his Dad’s handwriting that said “From the bottom of my heart, I love you.”, along with cufflinks with a photo of his Dad from HIS wedding day.
The love that Madison put into this gift is exactly what you need in a marriage and will forever make this one of my favorite weddings!
