After postponing their wedding and getting canceled on several times for their venue, it was such a joy to finally celebrate Rachel and Stephen!

I think it’s safe to say that everyone knows about my love for photographing high school sweethearts and these two were no exception. It never fails to amaze me how two people can meet so young and just know that they’re found their person.

Since they got married last year with just their family due to Covid, they decided they’d like to just have the day to celebrate and not do another ceremony. So instead, we spent the day driving around Durham to take pictures with their best friends and ended the day with a huge celebration!

Can we just take a second to appreciate these shoes? I was in heaven photographing them!

Now to my absolute favorites of the day – The Duke University Chapel. Stephen graduated from Duke and they were originally supposed to get married here, but due to Covid, they weren’t able to. So even though they couldn’t have their ceremony there, we were just going to have to make it look like they did!
