Alex and Kate stole my heart right from their first email! A lot of my initial emails start with how couples met and got engaged, but Kate added a little something extra that I just loved.

She told me all about their regular lives together, how they love to cook together and are “big wine fans” (Aren’t we all? Haha!), and how they thrive on traveling and are always planning their next trip. She told me about their sweet pup, Bambi, and that they love playing tennis together. And if that all didn’t sound great enough, then she said my favorite part.

“We’re excited for our actual marriage and creating a fun, strong partnership, not just looking forward to our wedding. We’re excited to start a family one day, God willing, and are active Catholics that maintain the church in our lives regularly.”

Oh my heart. As a wedding photographer, I obviously love talking #allthethings about the wedding day. But as a wife and mom (and a romantic at heart), there’s nothing I love more than a couple being so excited about their entire future together. And as a Christian, there’s nothing that I love more than a couple starting their marriage through God. I’ve just loved getting to know these two and can’t wait to watch their marriage flourish!
